Kurashiki Christchurch Association

The Kurashiki Christchurch Association was founded in January of 1985 in response to the desire of Kurashiki citizens interested in increasing the number of exchanges with citizens of Kurashiki's sister city Christchurch N.Z. (est. 1973).

The association helps both with the hosting of visiting groups and with events and activites designed to increase the friendship and goodwill between Kurashiki and Christchurch. In the past the association has even sent its own delegations to Christchurch. They also sponsor some friendly events for members throughout the year.

All people interested in participating in exchanges with groups in Christchurch are welcome to join.
